Aston Stud is a professionally run Eventing and livery yard that offers DIY, Part & Full livery. rnrnThe livery yard is based in Bampton, Oxfordshire and is in close proximity to Witney, RAF Brize Norton and Oxford.rnrnWe are in a unique poistion to offer students livery while attending Oxford University, Oxford Brookes, Cirencester Agricultural College & Witney College. We already have several eventing students based with us during term time.rnrnOwned and managed by New Zealand 4* event rider Bruce Haskell and his wife Alison Haskell.rnrnFull & Part livery - Brand new Monarch Stables in a light airey american barn with external windows. Each 12ft x 12ft stable has kriaburg rubber mats and autowaterers.rnrnDIY Livery - Newly refurbished stables. Shared secure tack room (maximum 3 liveries sharing). Shared feed and storage area.rnrnTrailer and lorry parking - Secure area of hardstanding for clients trailers and lorries. Price included in the livery package.rnrnArena - Newly built in 2009. The 20m x 50 m all-weather sand and rubber school was designed by Pegesus Arenas and is a very good surface for both jumping and dressage training. The school has floodlights to cater for our clients that cannot use the facilities during working hours in the winter.rnrnSchooling Field - The grass schooling field is reserved for schooling only and is constantly maintained by mowing and grading. The result is a 60m x 60m good flat grass surface that we use daily for jumping and dressage. This lovely area is enclosed with large established trees, post and rail fencing and some additional newly planted feature trees for a very private and peaceful environment to work. We have a full set of BSJA standard showjumps from Jumpsonline.com including high quality BSJA wooden painted rails from Jumping Kiwi.co.ukrnrnCanter track - A 650 metre grass track is in the process of being developed. The surface was levelled and graded in 2009 and we will begin use once seeding is established rnrnHacking - Livery clients have access (by permission) to over 300 acres of grass headland around the arable fields adjoining Aston Stud. Hacking on the country lanes is very easy and we have alot of horsey people in the area who use these roads.rn
